Job Description

Margulis Gelfand is seeking a highly qualified associate to join its team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in family law and an ability to work independently and as a member of a team that regularly collaborates to produce the best results for each client. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and strong research and writing abilities. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.

Margulis Gelfand is a litigation boutique based in Clayton, Missouri and has a local and national practice with litigation in state and federal courts throughout the United States.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other legal databases
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs
- Assist with case management and preparation for litigation
- Attend court hearings and depositions as necessary
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience with legal drafting and document review
- Knowledge of family law and civil litigation procedures and courtroom etiquette
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation:

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
