Job Description

Job Description

This is not your typical stuffy firm; we work hard, but we believe in fostering a positive team environment with room for growth.

We’re looking for a motivated litigation attorney to handle professional license defense and administrative law cases for our firm. Our next team member will diligently prepare for settlement conferences and be able to articulately defend clients at contested hearings before licensing boards and state agencies. Some experience is desired but not required.

Attorneys must possess patience when interacting with clients and must assist them in preparing for settlement conferences, contested case hearings, and any interviews with investigators.

This position will require you to appear in court and litigate cases, so you must feel confident and comfortable in this environment. If you enjoy the competitive nature of trial work, you will have plenty of opportunities.

Providing a quality client experience is a central part of the firm’s culture. If you would like to expand your legal knowledge in an underserved practice area, please apply. You will have the opportunity to serve as lead attorney on cases after completing proper training and successfully proving yourself during a set probationary period.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • 401(k) option after 12 months of employment
  • Health insurance benefits after 6 months of employment
  • Paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) after 6 months of employment
  • Work-from-home flexibility may be available after 60 days

Please submit a cover letter and résumé in PDF format to be considered.

Compensation:

$78,000 - $100,000 yearly plus discretionary quarterly bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
  • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients

  • Come up with legal theories for clients’ cases and execute plans for hearings and settlement conferences
  • Communicate with clients; if you like to communicate with clients or go the extra mile to make the client happy, then please apply
Qualifications:
