The Decision Advantage Solutions (DAS) Business Area within the National Security Sector of Leidos is searching for a Senior Capture Manager to focus on high value capture opportunities (>$100M), responsible for securing existing and winning new business opportunities with DoD and Intelligence Community customers – NRO. The position will report to the DAS Capture Director.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Senior Capture Manager performs a critical role in growing the Leidos business, responsible for developing and executing the overall capture strategy associated with an approved pursuit effort. This role influences development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results, while recommending and implementing new solutions, processes, policies, standards that result in a win. The problems we solve for our customers are complex and typically impact multiple areas and disciplines. Because of this fact, the successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to communicate with executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project, while drawing upon expert knowledge of industry practices, advanced techniques and solutions within a professional discipline to develop new standards, processes, and solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, “what’s next?” before the dust settles on “what’s now.”
If you’re already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2… good. You’ll fit right in.
For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
